Offerings
Outdoor learning, shared nourishment, and tender spaces for life’s thresholds.
Our offerings are shaped by land, story, and soul.
Whether we’re guiding youth through the forest, cultivating, harvesting, and sharing meals with the seasons, or tending the sacred at life’s end,
each offering is an invitation to remember what it means to belong;
to land, to lineage, and to one another.
Youth of the Forest
Where wonder leads and wildness is welcome.
These programs invite youth to build lasting connections with the land through playful exploration, seasonal rhythms, and hands-on outdoor learning.
We are excited to also have funding support from the YMCA. Go to the RASP website and follow the instructions to apply for an opportunity of up to $800 per year per child.
Wild Days
Our single-day programs are full of adventure, curiosity, and playful exploration. These unstructured days follow the interests of the youth, creating space for spontaneity, creativity, and connection with the land. Whether building shelters, telling stories, or exploring the woods, each day is a new opportunity to grow and belong.
Weekly Wilds
Our week-long camps offer a structured, immersive experience that blends wonder, skill-building, and joyful connection. With nature-based themes and guest guides, youth deepen their relationship with the land through hands-on activities and shared stories. Campers leave with confidence, memories, and a stronger sense of belonging outdoors.
Wild Skills
These short-format workshops focus on nature-based skills and hands-on learning in the outdoors. Each session is guided by a specific theme; like fire building, shelter, or wildcraft; and encourages youth to grow their knowledge, creativity, and confidence. These sessions offer a powerful way to deepen connection to nature in a focused and supportive setting.
Soil to Soul
Where nourishment becomes ceremony.
These programs invite adults to slow down and reconnect, through cultivating, harvesting, and sharing food, seasonal tending practices, and being in relationship with land, body, and community.
The Nourished Table
Hands-on, heart-led cooking classes rooted in the rhythms of the season. We gather to prepare food together, learn traditional skills, and share nourishing meals in community. Whether we’re baking, fermenting, or cooking over fire, each class offers a grounded, joyful way to reconnect through food and presence.
The Grounded Garden
Slow gatherings where we plant, harvest, and tend the land in tune with the seasons. These sessions offer time for learning, reflection, and quiet conversation while working side by side with the soil. No gardening experience is needed; just a willingness to get your hands dirty and be in relationship with the land.
The Community Pot
Community cook-ups where we prepare food to give back; to local food banks, shelters, or neighbours in need. These are joyful, collaborative gatherings rooted in care, reciprocity, and shared purpose. Come cook with us and experience how nourishment becomes an act of service, connection, and resilience.
Tending Thresholds
Where we meet what’s sacred, tender, and true.
These offerings hold space for end-of-life care, grief, reflection, and ritual, through doula support, community gatherings, and book-based conversations. Rooted in presence, reciprocity, and reverence for life’s natural cycles.
The Death Doula Path
Compassionate, one-on-one support for those nearing death and those who love them. This work includes presence at the bedside, legacy projects, ritual planning, and emotional support through life’s final transitions. Rooted in deep care and dignity, each relationship is guided by the needs, values, and wishes of the person at the centre.
The Gathering Circles
Gatherings for grief, reflection, storytelling, and shared presence around life’s thresholds. These circles may include fire gatherings, seasonal rituals, book clubs, or quiet spaces for asking hard and beautiful questions together. Each one is a place to come as you are, connect in community, and feel less alone in the mystery of it all.
Preparation Workshops
Interactive sessions that help individuals and families prepare for death with clarity, courage, and care. These workshops cover both practical tools and inner readiness, from advance planning to values-based conversation and community-centred support. They are for anyone who wants to face death more openly and live more fully.
“Seeds continues to plan and implement programs that offer children opportunities to connect with the environment and the communities around them.”
