The Death Doula Path

Companioning through endings, thresholds, and tender moments of transition.

Facing death is one of the most vulnerable and sacred experiences we meet in this life, for those who are dying, and for those who love them.

This work asks for presence, honesty, tenderness, and care. The Doula Path offers grounded, relational support through all the layers that arise before, during, and after death. Whether you are anticipating a death, actively companioning a loved one, or navigating early grief, you do not have to walk this alone.

No two paths are the same. Every person, every family, every situation is unique.

This work begins, always, with a conversation.

What This Work Holds

Support may include:

  • Presence and emotional support for the dying and their loved ones

  • Conversations around meaning, legacy, and preparation

  • Guidance for creating personal vigils, ceremonies, and rituals

  • Advocacy and navigation of care systems

  • Gentle witness and presence through active dying

  • Holding space for grief and early bereavement

This is not about having all the answers. It’s about making space for what needs to be spoken, witnessed, and tended, in a way that feels steady, safe, and personal to you.

How We Begin

First steps:

  • We begin with a simple conversation, no cost, no commitment.

  • You share a little about where you are.

  • Together, we explore what kind of support may feel most helpful.
